The Optimisation Team performs a key role in seeking out and delivering value across all channels. Responsible for gathering analytical insight, customer feedback and translating these into improved customer solutions, the team operates far and wide across the DPBM brands and Group to systematically create value.
Provide optimisation and innovation consultancy and solutions for projects across other Digital teams and across the Arcadia Group, balancing commitments and managing stakeholder expectations
Inform user journey/user experience strategies using analytics and optimisation testing techniques
Undertake website experience and design reviews, pairing data with heuristics, e.g. checkout re-design
Undertake reviews to identify capability gaps across devices and make recommendations for improvements
Own customer survey collection and output to enhance quantitative and qualitative voice of customer data, working closely with external research providers
Identify love and pain points in the customer journey, designing, proposing and testing options for change
Develop new working practices and flows to improve operational processes
Operate autonomously to plan, brief and execute tests via our external agency, determining success criteria and associated performance metrics. Track live tests and report outcomes to senior management.
Form close relationships with our personalisation, segmentation and predictive analytics agencies
Form close relationships and influence Group analysts along with Brand analysts and stakeholders
Work closely and collaboratively with other DPBM Digital teams to deliver all projects to a high quality
7+ years work experience in digital retail with exposure to Trading, Testing, UX and complex projects
Able to work autonomously, a true self-starter guided by commercial common sense
Able to find opportunities, assess potential, influence to secure buy-in, drive change
Highly organised, able to balance several projects simultaneously
Possesses a ‘problem solving’ approach
High attention to detail, performing well under pressure in a fast paced environment
Able to work collaboratively but make tough decisions when necessary
Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate and influence effectively at management level
Able to ruthlessly prioritise workload based on customer and commercial benefit
