THE ROLE

As an Online Production Assistant at DPBR you will be report to the Online Production Manager and work closely with the Trade team, the Online Creative department, and the Digital and offline Marketing teams. This role is responsible for managing the site specific content through the in-house content management system across UK and International sites. As part of a team of Production Assistants you will test and QA all site content daily and work with the wider Digital team on campaigns and projects.

 

DAY TO DAY 

  • Liaising with Editorial, Design and Production teams to produce and publish daily and weekly content across desktop, mobile and apps including, but not limited to:
    • Homepages
    • Features
    • Category headers
    • Hygiene page updates
    • Data capture / competition forms
    • Site reskin / seasonal refresh
    • Adhoc site updates
    • Site auditing and bug fixing
  • Test all uploads on the test platforms prior to publishing deadlines to ensure the accuracy of all site content, taking responsibility for making amendments where necessary
  • Ensure that all Editorial assets are correctly optimised before production, to keep designed content at optimum level
  • Oversees weekly features meeting, collating actions and updating planning documents.
  • Communicate requirements to the Systems team ensuring actions and bug fixes are completed
  • Testing of new functionality & all content changes to the site
  • Coordinate multiple projects and prioritise tasks to meet daily publishing deadlines
  • Develop ideas that aim to continually improve the efficiency of the Production Department
  • Assist in the development of technical requirements
  • Manage and / test website bugs using an online ticketing system Support the delivery of small scale web builds / development projects

 

MUST HAVES

  • Understanding of web technologies including mobile web, native apps and video
  • Keen interest in mobile and device development
  • Basic Photoshop skills and understanding of image compression and optimization for web
  • Experience with CMS
  • Experience working within a fast-paced ecommerce team, ideally in a fashion environment
  • Highly organized and exceptional time management skills
  • Ability to independently manage workflow and prioritize tasks in order to meet competing and changing deadlines, with a sound awareness of the team’s requirements
  • Ability to confidently communicate with external teams to coordinate assets and resolve issues
  • Ability to proactively think around obstacles, using initiative to identify and propose solutions
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently with an excellent eye for detail and accuracy
  • Basic understanding of CSS and HTML is desirable but not essential
