The Role:

The purpose of the role is to manage and maintain relationships with key partners, ensuring product is delivered on time and in full. The role is responsible helping partners make informed decisions on their buy of DP products, therefore strong communication and influencing skills are key to this role. To help plan and trade wholesale online international markets.

Day to Day:


  • Supporting Merchandiser to plan and deliver Wholesale despatch for the business- understanding of wholesale objectives, supporting in producing partner/product strategies – identifying seasonal lessons learnt and inputting to core B&M seasonal strategies and defining areas of opportunity for partners, utilising tools eg. Editd to identify market opportunities
  • Understanding the UK strategy in order to align with partners
  • Partner Budget/Range Planning: To plan the partner seasonal category & option requirement – ensuring commitment is placed in line with agreed monthly/seasonal plan £ and mix % – working with Wholesale buying team to deliver product requirement in line with partner phasing requirement and brand critical path
  • WSSI Management: To set up and maintain partner/core product WSSI/line projections– to ensure upfront seasonal intake/stock planning requirements are identified and managed in season to identify opportunity and highlight risk to the Merchandiser/Partner


  • To produce weekly trade packs, interpretation of analysis in order to identify actions around driving opportunities and highlighting any potential stock risk
  • Trade calls/Partner meetings – leading weekly/bi-weekly partner calls to share information relating to current performance, market conditions, promotional/marketing stance and upcoming events and drive out weekly actions, follow through with action plans and delegation of tasks as appropriate

Intake & Despatch/Order Fulfilment:

  • Manage partner despatch plan -ensuring on time commitment to meet the despatch budgets and DC forecasts
  • Manage and resolve all partner queries promptly and ensure smooth end to end process, including management of partner specific purchase orders if required

Management of MAA/WAA:

  • To effectively manage and support the workload of the team
  • To ensure priorities are managed accordingly, keep calm under pressure and display good time management
  • Develops and keeps team engaged by setting project work and development plan

Must Haves:

  • Previous Merchandising in wholesale/supplier experience
  • Extensive Microsoft Office, specifically advanced level in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proven numerical and analytical skills
  • Ability to network with internal and external customers
  • Adaptability to change management working in a fast pace environment
  • Proven management skills and ability to motivate and influence/encourage direct reports
